More hauls

Hello there, it's been awhile since my last blog, as you may know, having 2 kids not easy to manage. Furthermore I've recently been sick and just starting to get well.
Anyways, recently I bought some eyeshadows AGAIN and thought should just share with you.
Hope you enjoy!
High Voltage Cosmetics (http://www.highvoltagecosmetics.com/)
Absolutely in love with the shadows. Very pigments, lovely, vibrant colors even without any primer on. Price reasonable and good amount of products. In fact, filled to the top. (5gm jar)
Only thing I didn't is the jar. It's the clip-top jar and whenever you open or close it, it'll spill everywhere. Have to be gentle when open or close!
Starting from top left: What a Drag, Hot Patooti (love this color!), Adrenaline, VIP,
Kitten has claws.
From bottom left: Green Mist (matte vibrant green), Alter Ego, Glass Slippers, Pirate, Secrets & lies, Taboo Taboo, Fairy Blood.

Bella Terra Cosmetics (9 stack pigments- "Diamond")
Bought this from Ebay. Search under "Bella Terra" and you can see the seller. It's much cheaper to get from Ebay than directly from their website. So do check it out. They have many different colors. Overall, pigmentation is good. I like to use a wet brush for it. Gives a more vibrant look compare to primer.

Yeah!!! I finally received my Sleek Palettes in "Graphite" and "Sunset". You can't find these palettes in Australia. I think they are from UK and I actually got them from Ebay (UK). As I've checked out from youtube, they are LIMITED edition so LUCKY me of having them. Hee!!!

Below are the fotds taken. As you can see, colors pay-off are GREAT. Graphite are colors range from White, black, grey to vibrant dark purple. As for Sunset, it consists of red (absolutely in love with this color!), maroon, beige, pink, gold, orange, yellow and a very bright blue...

My family!

Well, here are some pics of my family. They are my life! I don't know what I'll do without them. There's always ups and downs, filled with happiness and at times tears but in the end, it's all worth it. I love you all! xoxoxo

Eye looks makeup using Sleek Palette

More pics of me and this time, I was trying out on the "Sleek Palette in Chaos". Color pay-off is quite good. They are matte, abit powdery but quite easy to blend.

Eye looks using Luminous Cosmetics n vid of my beloved sons!

As from the previous blog, I've tried out the Luminous pigments and it turned out well. Love them! Smooth and easy to blend!
Applied "Lavender" on my eyelid and "Mystery" on the crease.

Oh, just a random video which I took of my 2 sons. My little bub with his tummy time and my older son saying hi. Hmm... how time flies! Love them to bits...xoxoxoxo

Mini makeup haul

Yesterday I've received 2 packages. One from Luminous Cosmetics and the other from EG Minerals.

I really like the pigments from Luminous Cosmetics. Absolutely gorgeous color with great pigmentation!

As for the cream liner which I've got from EG minerals. Hmm... even though it's a gorgeous blue (as shown on the website), I must say I'm abit disappointed. This is a replacement from the first order I've made several weeks ago. When I received the first one (same color), it was all dry up. I thought this will be better but nope... it's still the same. it's gone hard and couldn't even get it out with a liner brush. Sigh...

Oh well, here's the pics of items:-

Luminous Cosmetics - 2 Pearl Lipsticks
(from left, After Glow and French Kiss)

Luminous Cosmetics - Pigments in
(from left, Mystery and lavender) and...

EG Minerals - Cream eyeliner in "Deep Cover"

Pics!!!

Well, continue from last nite blog... As I've said, besides getting fine by the cops, I did have a great time at the dinner. It's the only time where I get to doll myself up for a special event and also a night out for me and my hubby (WITHOUT the kids!)... Yeah...
Anyways, here's some of the pics.

Why are cops always right even when they themselves did something wrong!

Today is a special occasion cos one of my friends got married and we were invited to the reception. It was a great nite until I got fined by the cops. Arrrgghhh... I'm so annoyed and at same time, blamed myself for being careless! On the way home after the reception, we somehow lost our way and had to make a U-turn at some point, I thought it'll be alright for me to do so at the traffic lights. Gheez, it was late at nite and there were basically no cars at all. Unfortunately my hubby who usually is the one who's particular about traffic rules missed the cop car which somehow appeared out of nowhere the moment I did the U-turn. Honestly, I have no clue about the Australia Traffic rules. Back in my hometown (Singapore), you can do a U-turn depending on the roads. Therefore I thought it would be the same here. There's no cars, road was wide enough for U-turn, so why do they make such a BIG FUSS??? Well, the police stopped me and I did try to explain to him but he takes NO for an answer. To think that I do not have any criminal records, nor driving problem, they could have given me a chance by just a warning... but NOPE!!! They showed no mercy, they want points/$$$... they went ahead to book me with a $100 fine and 2 demerit points. Hmm... I think that's pretty harsh though!

Guess what... worst of all was when the cop came over to hand me the ticket, he was reeked with alcohol... I swear I could smell strong alcohol when he spoke to me... so is it right for him to charge me when he himself drinks during duty??? That's NOT FAIR n not right then!

Sigh... it's just my unlucky nite!

Detrivore Cosmetics

I have recently purchased some mineral eyeshadows from this company: http://www.detrivorecosmetics.com/ (Check them out!)

These range which I've purchased are the matte version. They only had the first 10 colors when I ordered them but now they had MORE. I first got to know about this company through Youtube and I've actually ordered quite alot of pigments from them. What so great about them is:-

  • Reasonable pricing - $3 a jar (5gram), $1 per sample (comes in ziplog bag)

  • Generous amount for the sample packs.

  • Different ranges of gorgeous colors, from shimmer, glitter to matte

  • Great pigmentation

  • Comes with free samples per purchase (GENEROUS amount!)

You can purchase them either from their website or through Ebay (search for "Detrivore"). However I think for now they only sell the matte colors on their website. If you just wanna try all the colors, you can purchase the SAMPLEs (e.g. 54 colors) through Ebay and TRUST ME, They awesomely cool and totally worth every penny you've spent!

In terms of staying power, like any other pigments, you do need to put on some eye primer or wet the shadows so that they will stay longer on your eyes. ;)

Well, here's the pics of the first 10 matte colors (look how VIBRANT without any primer!!!)

Sorry about the writing! I know, it's untidy and unclear. Oh well, I did try to write as neatly though! :)
If you want the exact details, you may check out on : www.detrivorecosmetics.com

Till the next blog, have a great week ahead! xxx
