Wet n wild Icon eyeshadow palettes swatch!

There are alot of raves about Wet n Wild Icon eyeshadows and of course as tempted, I have purchased 3 palettes from an Ebay seller: xoceliee22 and items are shipped from US.

It's a pity that I'm not living in US so I don't get the priviledge to get them at very low cost. But having to say that, I am lucky to find these on Ebay and got them at an ok price. The price for each palette is USD$7.99. I bought 3 of them and the total prices including int.shipping : $23.97 + $8.75 = USD$32.72

The 3 palettes which I got were:-

  1. Pride
  2. Vanity
  3. Lust

Beautiful colors combination. If you have known, each palette has 6 colors. A combination of matte and shimmer. Very pigmented. Color payoff is good and even though some of the shadows do have fall out/ chalkiness, they are so smooth to the touch and blend out very well. Definitely worth every penny... I love what I have purchased so far!

PRIDE

VANITY

LUST

Swatches done on bare hand- Pride (left side matte colors and right side shimmer/metallic colors)

Vanity (nude n browns. Left matte colors n right side shimmer/metallic colors).Pic didn't do justice, colors are very pigmented including the matte ones. Great for neutral looks and also a good subsitute for UD naked palette (which is more of higher end)

Lust - Mainly purples/ dark plumish tone. (Left side matte colors and right side shimmery/metallic colors). Once again, pic didn't do justice. These colors are very pigmented, smooth texture and easy to blend!)

So what are you waiting for? If you want something pigmented, value for $, colors variation... try these out!
Have a lovely sunday to all! xoxo

Sugarpill Cosmetics review!

Hi again, hope everyone had a good week. This is another makeup haul and as you can see from the pics, it's the well known: Sugarpill cosmetics which has been praised by alot of makeup bloggers/youtube gurus. The website is : http://www.sugarpillshop.com/ . The owner name is Amy who is also known as shrinkle on ebay. She sells not only sugarpill cosmetics but theatrical makeup stuffs (e.g.kryolan) as well. The pressed eyeshadows and loose pigments which are known as "Chromolust" are extremely pigmented and vibrant. I certainly agree that if you are looking for strong vibrant colors, you will have NO REGRETS with these!

Prices are very reasonable especially when the amount is quite generous and some of you may have known, these makeup are not just randomly purchased or imported from some makeup warehouse dealers... etc... but it's Amy (owner of store) who put in lots of effort and hard work to customise these beautiful shadows.

So here I go:-

Price for 4-color palette: USD$34 (The one I got is "Burning Heart")
Single pressed shadow is USD$12 each, therefore with this palette, you're actually saving cost!

Chromolust loose pigments: USD$12 each (Nett weight 5gram)

Shipping cost : Flat USD$5 within US
International shipping: Orders up to $20 (USD$6)
Orders up to $40 (USD$8)
Orders up to $60 (USD$10)
Orders up to $75 (USD$12)
Orders from $75 onwards (FREE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE)

Items wrapped in a pink paper and with cards and Sugarpill sticker. As you can see from the pic, Amy had even handwritten on the receipt. How sweet of her! :)

From left: Darling, Royal Sugar, Lumi, Stella

If you notice, Lumi has lesser amount in the jar. I guess it's based on weight, not on amount. Nothing to lose though as a little goes a long way and it's a beautiful highlight color!

Swatches from left: Darling (Stunning teal loaded with iridescents turquiose star bursts)
Royal Sugar (Striking bright blue with heavenly burst of turquiose diamonds)... my favourite!

Swatches from left: Lumi (white with turquiose sheen, like duo-chrome... abit of green and blue shimmer). Great as highlighter or apply on a dark base which will again shows a different color!
Stella (Matte black with rainbow sparkles)... Gorgeous!!!!!

Burning heart Palette

Swatches done on bare hand, creamy and super pigmented. A little goes a long way. My advice is to use eyeshadow brush to pick up color and to blend, do not use finger as these color do stain and I realised that when I used fingers to swatch, the product tends to stick to my finger.

Because the shadows are so pigmented, that's the stain after I wiped off with a tissue. To me it's not a bad thing as.... good quality lasts longer and this has proven it. :)

So there you go, this is my review on Sugarpill. I absolutely adore them and hope to add in more of them to my collection!
Hope you have a lovely week! xoxo

NYX creme lipstick + Evil shade lip glosses

Hi all, if you have followed my blog, you could tell that I'm not really a lipstick person but it's always nice to have some lipsticks in your closet for some special occasions.

I have recently purchased 6 NYX lipsticks on Ebay (Bidded price: USD $9.52 + INT.shipping: USD $3.99). I've done some research and these are some of the popular colors (as reviewed by several bloggers/Youtubers)

Pro: Very good pricing, very pigmented, creamy, moisturising

Con: Strong perfumey taste when applied on lips (not to my liking!), staying power is not very long (probably with lipliner will help to last longer).

Colors from top left: Fig (640), Thalia (529), Snow White (569)

Bottom left: Power (629), Louisiana (634), Tea Rose (628)

Now come to EvilShades cosmetics. I got to know about this brand through this gorgeous blogger: http://www.iamnymphette.com/. I was actually looking at their lipsticks but instead of getting the full size, I actually bought all the deviant lipstick sample + 2 lips glosses. Well, as you can see, the package is so well done. They came in a pretty pouch. All the samples came in a small ziplog baggie. Amount is sufficient between 3-6uses. Sorry but I didn't do any swatches cos it can be kinda messy as some of the lip colors somehow melted in the ziplog and form some oily residue. I wasn't impressed with that but I do like the consistency of the deviant lips. Very moisturing and pigmented too but because it's very moisturising, they do not last long. Unfortunately I'm not able to locate my receipt so unsure of the price for the samples which I bought, however you may check it out on their website: http://www.evilshades.com/ . I also bought their 2 liquid sin lip gloss (USD $5 each) in:
  1. Karta : A bright cool tone pink with coral undertone with abit of purple and silver sparkle to it.
  2. Morna: An icey opal blue with icy sparkles and large silver pearl sparkles.

Very smooth, non sticky at all! Love these...definitely worth checking out on them!

Kryolan shimmering vision palette

Hi hi, I think I'm probably too obsessed with youtube and the gurus review of makeup stuffs, I always try to get hold of the products even though I know I won't be using them. I guess it's just a sense of satisfaction when I'm able to get hold of the items and add them to my makeup collection. Although I may be spending money on makeup, I don't really like the idea of spending lots of money on just 1 item. I'll only get it if price is reasonable.

Well... recently after seeing the review of the palette: Kryolan Shimmering Vision from makeup Guru (Pursebuzz) on youtube, I can't help but determined to get one and I finally got it back in late September from an Ebay seller: BeautyManiac.net (USD$47.99 + Int.ship USD$10 = USD$57.99). However I've just checked on website and she's not in the list. Therefore if you're interested, you could purchase this from other sellers.

There are very limited sellers selling this product. At the moment, the cheapest you could purchase will be from seller : Shrinkle (she has her own makeup range: Sugarpill). The price she's selling is USD$52.50 + Int shipping: USD$11.50 = USD$64)

Description: Creme-based shimmering eye shadow. Very smooth, creamy and pigmented. 18 eyeshadows in a full-sized mirror (with brush) palette. Each eyeshadow is approx. 1" x 1" big.
Can be used directly as eyeshadow or as a base. Due to my oily lid, I prefer to use as a base instead of a full eyeshadow. Before applying that, I definitely have to use a primer (e.g. UDPP) in order for the color to stay longer. These eyeshadows do have a very strong perfumey smell to it (I'm ok with it once in a while but definitely not using them all the time) but if you don't mind , not sensitive to the smell and are looking for a neutral, bright, vibrant fun colors but wanted it in a creme base, this if worth considering!

Swatched on bare hand. Just one swipe!!! Can you see the pigmentation? Absolutely great. As decribed, the feel is creamy but applied on smoothly. Non sticky at all! (Most of them are shimmery color except the white, sky blue on top row and yellow on bottom )
Colors swatched are exactly same as in the palette.

Inglot Makeup haul Pt 2!

Hi hi... remember the earlier post? Well, after those purchases, I actually went back again a few days after to buy more (because of the promo) and these are the following items which I bought:-

  1. 2 lip Duo- No.11 & No.39
  2. Loose pure pigment- No.16, No.18 & No.36
  3. Freedom Blush palette- No.29, No.14, No.22 & No.11
  4. Lipliner- No.71 & No.60

Swatch from left: No.29 (great for contour), No.14 (abit of mauvey tone with bits of sparkle), No.22 (matte pinkish peach tone) and No.11 (matte coral tone- I paid this in full price as it was not on promo). A little goes a long way as they are so pigmented!

Pure pigments swatched from left (on bare hand): No.16 (like burgandy red), No.18 (Gorgeous Teal) & No.36 (Duochrome- white pinkish. Great as highlight, inner corner eyes or on dark base)

Lip duo swatch: No.11 (pink with white gloss) & No.39 (Coral color with coral tone of gloss). Although they feel sticky on finger but when you apply them on lips, they are very smooth and pigmented. Due to they are gloss, they don't last very long but definitely worth getting if you just wanna amp up your lip color. :)

Lip liner swatch from top: No.71 (Coral tone) & No.60 (Mauvey pink). Very smooth and pigmented! I love both of them!!!! It's very rare to see a coral lip liner and I'm so lucky to have them.

So there you go... hope you enjoy the post! xoxo
