To say Hello! n review on the Avon Extra Lasting Eyeliner.

Hi all, hope everyone is doing well. Once again... I've been very slacked with blog and I'm very sorry about that. As much as I would like to do blogs every single day, I just couldn't! With 3 kids (oldest at school now) and 2 younger ones with me all day, just find it hard to concentrate blogging. I often take photos of the items which I've bought and swatched but by the time I've done that, I just don't have the motivation to upload and simpy because the kids just constantly annoying me and I've just got too distracted to do so! Gosh...

Well, I'm sorry once again and thank you to those who subscribed to my channel even if it was just a few of you, it is very much appreciated! I will try my best to do what I need to do... (besides being full time mum), to blog and share what my passion (makeup) is with you guys!

Anyways to start off, here is a product which I ordered and received from my friend (whom is an Avon Representative). It is the Avon Extra Lasting liquid Eyeliner in shade- Black Shimmer. I think usual price was Aud $14.99 but I bought it for $9.99. Sometimes Avon do have good deals not just on this but many desirable products. However you can probably purchase this cheaper from Ebay -UK. (PS: I find that Avon stuffs are always cheaper from UK etc. Ebay)

It comes in 3 shades and they all have micro shimmer in it. So if you are into matte liners, this is definitely not for you. However if you are into liner with shimmers in it, you might wanna check this out. If you have noticed from the photos, the brush applicator does look similar to the well-known Loreal Lineur Intense which I have never tried. My always go to eyeliner is the K-Palette 24hr liquid eyeliner (which is really good) but when I swatched and tested this on my eye today, I must admit it is as good. It comes in a felt-tip application and it is quite easy to control. Here's the description of the product:-

Liquid liner strokes on smoothly for precision contouring. Almost 9 hours of defining color. Fade-proof, transfer-proof and smudge-proof. .085 fl. oz.

And here is my point of view:-

Pros:

  • Long lasting. Unlike some other liquid liner, this one drys up pretty fast. I have oily lids and I had it on for more than 7 hours and it didn't budge at all.

  • Felt Tip applicator. This one is easy to control the desirable thickness of line.

  • Water Resistant. I tried washing the swatch off my hand with water and soap, it didn't fade at all till I used the cleansing oil. Or you can rub it off but I'm sure you wouldn't want to do that to your delicate eyes. :) (It doesn't smudge however it is advisable not to rub your eyes as it does flake off.)

  •  Packaging is sturdy and travel size friendly.

Cons:

  • Although it dries pretty fast, still need to close my eye or look down to avoid smudging upon application. Well I suppose that applies to most liquid liner. :)

  • Avoid touching eyelashes (which is inevitable but if can, do so) especially with mascara on as I find it harder to wash it off. Takes longer time to cleanse my eyelashes.

  • Only comes in limited shades : 3 / 4 shades

  • If you are looking for matte black liners, this is NOT the one for you as it has shimmers and not a jet black. (To me, its more of a cobalt.)

  • You can't get this from any shop. It has to be ordered from Avon Representatives. Usually there will be a representative on the district / Suburd you're living in or sometimes through friends who receive brochures from them or if your friend is one of them. (If not, just order from Ebay-UK as I find them cheaper that way... providing the shipping cost is reasonable) :)

Here are the pics and swatches:-

Can you see the shimmers in it?

It certainly is not matte!

Just trying out on my eyes...

Hope the info helps you with your search of the eyeliner that suits you the best!

Till then, have a lovely night! xxx

Lush cosmetics- A Million Kisses Lip Tint

Hi ya, hope everyone is well out there! I just wanna share this great product which I bought sometime ago and have been reaching out for it most of the time. It's the Lush Lip Tint in 'A Million Kisses'.
Description as:

This lip tint is rosy red and scented with the same rose fragrance. Lips will be left soft, supple, tinted a romantic hue and delicately scented of roses … all ready to give your beau a million kisses, or to receive them! A Million Kisses can also be used as a cream blusher, to accentuate the cheekbones and give that coy, flushed glow.

It is a beautiful product and it applys smoothly and evenly on the lips. It is what it says, a lip tint and it's truly a very pigmented one and it lasts all day long... even after having a few drinks, food... I still had the rosy lips stain. And best of all, you can apply on cheeks too! This product somehow reminds me very much of the Besame Rouge but cheaper!

You can get it either in stores or directly on the website: www.lush.com.au
The price is AUD$9.95 (Whic is actually a good deal). It also comes in other shades but I personally think this one is the most pigmented out of the others.

The only thing I do not like about this is the screw top. It is not easy to unscrew if you tighten it too much but just be aware of that. :)

Oops... sorry I looked tired but thought just show you how it looked on my lips. Only applied one layer.

Well, go and check out when you can. Lush also have the 'Emotional Brilliance' range which are great and I actually bought a few and I love it! I will post a blog about them soon. Till then, take care and good day to all!

Models Prefer cosmetics haul

Hello beautiful people out there, recently I went to Priceline/ Australia to have a look around and I found this little makeup palette brand MODELSPREFER. If you have seen my blog, you may have remembered my previous blog about some other makeup from this brand. Anyways this little palette caught my attention well... I would say mainly because of the blush. It was AUD$10.99 but reduced to AUD$8.99. It contains 3 well pigmented shadows, a blush (with specks of glitters) and a full sized lipstick. The texture of the shadows and blush are not very smooth or finely milled but do have great pigmentation especially the shadows. As much as I was attracted to the blush, it wasn't as pigmented as shown in the pan but still' it's a pretty color and will look nice on top of a creme blush.

Without further ado, here are the swatches....

Swatches are done on bare hand and as you can see,the pigmentation are good with just one swipe.

It's actually quite a nice lipstick color, sort of burgundy red.

I actually took some pics of the ingredients but somehow unable to download them so I will update the info soon. Till then' enjoy your evening!

Haute Luxxor Cosmetics

Hello everyone, it's been a VERY long time since I last blogged. Since I had the 3rd child, life has been even busier. Being Full time mum is certainly not an easy job! Require my constant attention n commitment 24 hours but by end of day, everything just worth it especially when I get to see them grow everyday!

Well, since I have little time thought I should just review some eye shadows which I have purchased from this company some time ago. www.hauteluxxor.com ( Price range from sample $1.25 to palette $13.50)

I got a stack pigments of 6 and a pressed quad eyeshadows  but because they were purchased awhile back, I don't remember the name of the stack pigments and I don't think it's available now. The quad palette which I had was called Coral Seas Palette ( consists of 4 shades: Paparazzi, Coral, Tropix and Aquamarine) The pressed pigmentation is just brilliant and gorgeous! The swatches done are without primer, just on bare hand.

  •

Swatches from left: Coral, Paparazzi, Aquamarine and Tropix

Can you see how gorgeous the colors are? especially Paparazzi!

Now below are the pics of the stacked pigments... they were swatched with primer. ( in total there's 6 colors, unfortunately the packaging did not state the name of each shade) but you can see they are bright and colorful, like rainbow shades.

Please check them out if you are interested! They also have sample pigments and comes in a clam jar with generous amount. I bought a few of them but just hadn't load the pics yet. But they are certainly beautiful n Pigmented as well!
