When I was 34 weeks pregnant and makeup look.

These pics were taken when I was 34 weeks pregnant. With this pregnancy, my belly seems to be smaller than previous pregnancies. When I went for hospital checkup, the doc just couldn't believe that I am 34 weeks and because I haven't really gain much weight for this pregnancy, doc was pretty concerned about the growth of the baby and wanted me to go for a scan to check it out. Anyway I've been for ultrasound scans twice since then (currently almost 38weeks) and bub is fine. Probably bub will be much smaller this time round compare to my previous ones. In fact her head is already down low and ready to be out anytime soon.  Doc reckons bub won't wait till due date which est. to be 15th Jul. :) So just cross fingers and hope for the best!

Just simple eye look- Yellow eyeshadows on lid and brown on crease

Manicare Precision Blending Sponge. Works just like Beauty Blender!

This is the blending sponge which I've bought awhile ago and have tried using several times now. So far it's been a good one. It works just the same as the famous "Beauty Blender" but the shape is abit different and this sponge does not expand as much as the beauty blender when it's in contact with water. I personally don't see any much difference between dry and wet for this sponge but it works just as good. I probably prefer it to be slightly damp so it'll blend the foundation out better. I've tried with both liquid and cream foundation and it blends beautifully and my face looked flawless after application. I used the sharper point to apply my eye concealer. As for price wise, this is definitely much cheaper than Beauty Blender. In US, they do have other blending sponges like e.g. Sonia Kashuk... etc. Think the price is almost the same as this one. So instead of getting from online (e.g. Ebay- more costly after adding shipping cost), this will be the alternative as it costs only about AUD $8.95 and you can get it from Target. Sometimes Target do have promo like 20-25% off and that makes it more worthwhile. Well, I bought mine when it was on 20% off. In fact I bought another one as a spare!

Oh yes... and just to let you know... I've washed this quite a few times and there's no bleeding at all! So that's good thing huh...

Chi Chi Eyeshadow palette in Billion Dollar Heiress swatches

Yesterday I went to Myer shopping as they are having some sales going on and I happened to see this palette on sale as well. It's the Chi Chi Eyeshadow- Billion Dollar Heiress Palette (purple palette). There were a few others (Pink and blue). I only got this as I already had the pink one which I bought long time ago (which is more of brown, gold shades).

This palette consists of 12 well pigmented eyeshadows with a combination of Pinks/ purple/smokey eye. As you may have known, this is just like a dupe of the Pop Beauty wallet palette. However Chi Chi is an Australian brand. The usual price for this is AUD$16.95 but I got it for only $8 which was a good deal! Most of the colors are well pigmented. A combination of matte, shimmer and a few with fine glitters. I tried on my eyes this morning and wow, the brush actually works very well with these eyeshadows. Just one swipe and it picked up a fair bit of amount. There were a bit of fall out but not much! Overall I'm impressed with the colors and pigmentation!

Anyway here's the swatches:-

The purple shade is gorgeous. It has abit of micro red glitters. Not very visible unless you look at it upclose.

The burgundy red and pink are gorgeous too.

The black is more like charcoal color with silver glitters in it.

SLEEK 'AVOIR LA PECHE' Collection- Limited Edition!

I've got this collection when they were first launched on Sleek website. The eyeshadow palette is sold out but you could still get the lip conditioner and blush from the website. However you could try checking out on Ebay!

By now there would have had alot of reviews and blogs about this collection and I must say I am so lucky to have this collection. I personally think that this collection not only suitable for Summer but all for all seasons! I love the eyeshadow palette and the blush. They are very pigmented and a little goes a long way. The Pout Polish lip conditioner in "Sugar May" is a nice sheer peachy tone. In addition to this collection, I have also bought another Pout Polish in "Electro Peach" which is of a brighter peach tone and quite pigmented for a lip conditioner. The only thing I don't like about the Pout Polish has some kind of taste/smell like coconut or almond? Just strange taste but for the color, I guess I could tolerate that. :)
