My work place X'mas function '09'

Oh, how nice of my office to send me an invitation for the X'mas party even when I'm currently on maternity leave.
Anyway, here are the pics taken on last Fri. The party was held in one of the function rooms in Season's hotel- Perth.
It was a simple nite, just quizs and games but I had fun. As you can see, a few of my colleagues were PRETTY DRUNK!

Getting myself ready for the X'mas party...
Haha... so vain! Just wanna take more pics of myself with Ethan. Well, it's once in awhile where I can doll myself up and go out without the kids. ;)

Latest pics and HD Pigments swatch

Hi all, it's been awhile since I'm did a blog. I've been busy attending to my kids and also cos of Season holidays approaching, been busy with other stuffs too. Since I have time today, thought I should make an effort to update my blog. Anyways here's the recent pics of me.

Oh yes, I also wanna talk about the recent product which I have bought. It's the HD pigments (High Definition Loose Paints) and I ordered that from http://www.foreverglam-makeup.com/ (check owner out on Youtube: socalatina72)
They were on special when I ordered. $5 per jar instead of $8. I've ordered the whole collection (18 of them) for USD $90 (Excluding shipping).
When I received the products, I did some swatches (as shown below). As per description, they are pigmented. I would say they're very shimmery /glittery. Some of the colors are prettier. Because they contain glitters, it's advisable to use primer or apply wet so shadows will stay longer. You can apply them on it's own or onto eyeshadows to enhance the color.

Do check them out! I think it's worth purchasing even if for $8 a jar cos a little goes a long way and it comes in a good size amount.

Me and Ethan. He's just a cheeky one!

Mum's the best in the world!

Yesterday, my mum gone back to Singapore. It's been an emotional day for me. I've tried, really tried hard to be strong but ended up I broke down and cried so many times. Mum tried to console me and she asked me to be strong especially when I'm all alone here in Australia. I know I have to especially for the sake of my kids BUT... I don't know whether I can manage by myself.

This is the first time for mum to travel out of hometown and even though it was only for 3 months, it meant alot to me. She's been helping me out since Ronan (2nd child) was born. She helped to rock him to bed, bath him, changed his nappy, played with him and just consistently attend to him when needed. Without her help, I think I probably would have got postnatal depression cos of having to deal with the older one too.

I thought I am strong but I'm NOT! I'm too vulnable and emotional. Mummy is the best, they are the one who attend to you when needed. She's my listener and comforter. Now come to think, I have never appreciate her help before, always get annoyed with her but now when she's gone (back to hometown), I realised the importance of having her in my life. I know... I know, I can always go back Singapore to visit her... blah blah... but it's different. It's not the same! Furthermore I can't just go back as and when I want to. I have my own family to attend to and money is a factor too.

I just need my mummy! Well, all I can say is... there's a limit for hubby to help and they DON'T automatically help. For mine, there's constant nagging involved before I get any help... so you see, how can I not get stress!

Oh well, just wanna thank my mum for her help during her stay here with us. I hope we'll go back for holiday soon, if not, have to convince her to come back to visit us again.
I will try to be strong and be patient. Love you mum!!! xoxoxo

More hauls

Hello there, it's been awhile since my last blog, as you may know, having 2 kids not easy to manage. Furthermore I've recently been sick and just starting to get well.
Anyways, recently I bought some eyeshadows AGAIN and thought should just share with you.
Hope you enjoy!
High Voltage Cosmetics (http://www.highvoltagecosmetics.com/)
Absolutely in love with the shadows. Very pigments, lovely, vibrant colors even without any primer on. Price reasonable and good amount of products. In fact, filled to the top. (5gm jar)
Only thing I didn't is the jar. It's the clip-top jar and whenever you open or close it, it'll spill everywhere. Have to be gentle when open or close!
Starting from top left: What a Drag, Hot Patooti (love this color!), Adrenaline, VIP,
Kitten has claws.
From bottom left: Green Mist (matte vibrant green), Alter Ego, Glass Slippers, Pirate, Secrets & lies, Taboo Taboo, Fairy Blood.

Bella Terra Cosmetics (9 stack pigments- "Diamond")
Bought this from Ebay. Search under "Bella Terra" and you can see the seller. It's much cheaper to get from Ebay than directly from their website. So do check it out. They have many different colors. Overall, pigmentation is good. I like to use a wet brush for it. Gives a more vibrant look compare to primer.

My family!
