Maybelline Color Tattoo Metal 24hr swatch

Hi, today swatch is on the Maybelline Color Tattoo Metal 24hr eyestudio. This is the collection for Spring 2013 and it was launched earlier this year in US. As always, Australia is slow when comes to US or Europe cosmetics collections and hasn't had this collection yet so I managed to purchase these from Ebay (seller: gumamela334lady) at a reasonable price: USD$24.49 + USD$12 = $36.49 in total (worked out about USD$7.30 each) In total, there are 5 shades.

 

Since there has already been many reviews on these color tattoos, shall we go ahead with the swatches then! :)

 

Shades from left: Inked in Pink, Silver Strike, Gold Rush, Barely Branded and Electric Blue

 

 

 

Inked in Pink

The gold is gorgeous but when I swatched, abit sheerer than the other two. Swatches below for Gold Rush was with two swipes whereas Inked in Pink and Silver Strike with one swipe.

 

Barely Branded

 

 

I am so in love with this shade! Great as a base for nude/ neutral shades and it is so pigmented. Below was with one swipe and it's so opaque and pigmented.

 

 

Electric Blue

 

 

At first I thought Electric Blue would be vibrant but it was more of a dark navy blue. To my disappointment this shade was not as pigmented as seen in the jar. Below swatch was with two swipes and as you can see, it was abit patchy. I will probably use this more as a base than on it's own.

 

 

With vigorous rubbings to test the longevity. Electric Blue pretty much faded away first. The best was the shade in Barely Brand. ;)
